When you get to the site you see a high level view that shows you thousands of products arranged in hundreds of categories. At first you see the top level category names and like tiny little dots for the products. As you zoom in the products get larger and larger and you can see more categories. There are 10 levels of zoom. Once you are zoomed in you the will need to pan up, down, left or right to all of the categories and products. You can also move your mouse over products and click on them to see more details about the products.

There are several ways to zoom:

• Use the slider on the left of the window, sliding up zooms in and sliding down zooms out
• Use the + button just above the slider or the - button just below the slider
• With the keyboard you can type the + key to zoom in or the - key to zoom out
• If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can roll the scroll wheel up to zoom in or down to zoom out
• Double click right will zoom out
• When your mouse is over the icons for a category or the name of a category, the category will be highlighted. If you click then, you will zoom in one level and be centered on the category.

Click on the search button to begin your search. Search looks for products in the current department. You can hide the search results by clicking on the slider pane.

You can save products you like. To save a product, click on it and then click on Save. A saved product is shown in an area on the right of the window. You can see the details of a saved product by clicking on it. Once you save a product, you can jump back to it later to see its neighbors. You can also easily compare it to other products.

After you click on a product you will see more detailed information in a balloon on top of the catalog. There is a link at the bottom of the balloon to buy the product. Clicking on this will take you to the product on the Amazon site.
